If in this existence you only are surviving, fearing death, then you are not and cannot be living, Loving, Life...

Our species has allowed itself to be brainwashed, by those few who have always sought dominion, into being survivors in fear of death. This leaves a majority of humanity not being alive in Love with Life. 

But it would appear to me that the dominion seekers, have brainwashed themselves over the years, as they too now would seem to be surviving only in fear of death and dying, not in Love with Life and living.

I believe death is not an ending, but a new beginning and if it is not a new beginning, it is not. Either way death cannot be avoided. However, if you are only surviving this existence, trying somehow to elude death, then you, by choice, are avoiding the experience of Life and Love.
