The caterpillar; belly crawling earthbound, is to the body; flesh lusting fear mortally addicted, as the butterfly; wings fluttering sky free, is to the Soul; God glorifying LOVE infinitely liberated. 

The caterpillar can only dream of being the butterfly; sky free wings fluttering, so long as it is earthbound belly crawling.

With our gifts of freewill and awareness of being we have chosen to be afraid, chosen to be unhappy and still we choose to be the same; making this the clearest case of looking a gift horse in the mouth in all of known history. Had we to do it over without the grudges of our past misdeeds to one another hanging over our head and weighing heavy on our hearts would we choose LOVE and if so, can't we now make the choice we would have made instead? For if this is our illusion to imagine, then history is our delusion to forget.

Ask yourself why we spoil the wine of Heaven rather than become drunk on the LOVE from which it was poured.

Addendum:
Most of us know in our soul that civilization must alter its course once and for all almost entirely if we are to ever know a moments lasting peace and happiness. And yet most either through delusion; the kings, indoctrination; the soldiers, ignorance; the fanatical, force; the slaves or apathy; the masses continue to be part of the fear based problem, rather than the LOVE based solution.

The choices are simple; continue to cringe in the shadow of fear or BE in the light of LOVE.

And that's it; there is no door number three, no choice that I can see where surviving this or any LIFE in fear, as opposed to living LIFE in LOVE is an alternative that is either sane, rational, useful or will ever bring you or anyone the sustaining happiness we all crave, we all need, to BE...
